Probably somewhere like Uganda.

Probably places like Somalia.

And much of America is still quite homophobic. The other day a Christian girl speaking against homosexuality received a lot of support.

Pick the one's that celebrate Muhammad and you'll have your answer.

by Anonymousreply 3February 7, 2021 3:22 AM

The Islamic countries.

Many of them with death penalties for homosexuality.

I'd classify that as homophobic.

by Anonymousreply 5February 7, 2021 3:25 AM

Middle East, as per usual.

by Anonymousreply 6February 7, 2021 3:29 AM

Nigeria which has pretty equall Christian and Muslim populations.

The common ground is the strange obsession and hatred of male homosexually.?

We should have whipped them more

This map will give you a fair idea. R3, R5 and R6 are pretty much right. Sourced from UN data

#9, is that blue country on the upper right of the map Mongolia??

by Anonymousreply 11February 7, 2021 3:39 AM

It would be one of the countries that have the death penalty for homosexuality. They are all Muslim countries.

Here's the list:

R7 Thailand is not perfect but it is far from the worst. Private, adult, consensual, and non-commercial sodomy was decriminalized in Thailand in 1956. In 2015, Thailand enacted comprehensive anti-discrimination law covering sexual orientation and gender identity. As of 2019, a civil partnership bill is being discussed by the Thai Parliament, which, if passed, would grant same-sex couples several of the rights of marriage, notably property and inheritance rights, but not rights to public welfare, tax benefits or adoption

R11 yes its Mongolia, surprisingly progressive. Absolutely not Iran which is one of the worst

The poster who tagged Thailand is a fucking idiot who couldn’t identify Thailand on a map. Let alone have visited there.

by Anonymousreply 16February 7, 2021 3:53 AM

The Confederate States of America

R9 Ah that religion of peace, so glad we are being told to be accepting of it.

by Anonymousreply 18February 7, 2021 4:07 AM

As someone who has been to some Middle Eastern countries, much of the homophobia isn’t really against gay people in themselves more so that public sodomy carries the death penalty.

by Anonymousreply 19February 7, 2021 4:21 AM

Russia and former Soviet states, then there's the Caribbean and Africa, and Indonesia and Malaysia and other Asian countries.... most of the world's population live around people that can't deal with gays and want them dead.

by Anonymousreply 20February 7, 2021 4:22 AM

Forgot the Middle East, which is a hell hole. They try to be modern with their fancy hotels and swimming pools but they are truly homophobic and vicious.

by Anonymousreply 21February 7, 2021 4:23 AM

You could be a guy, stick on a dress and get railed and they would be fine. It's the moment you present yourself in a masculine way and get railed that they stone you to death. Makes you wonder if that's another reason the trans lifestyle is being pushed on gay men, so it makes things easier for the expansion of Muslim culture in the western world.

by Anonymousreply 22February 7, 2021 4:26 AM

Iran. My father is from Egypt which has been heading towards the same oppressive situation as Iran for a while now, but there’s still a more underground gay scene there. Iran is really the worst.

by Anonymousreply 23February 7, 2021 5:03 AM

Chechnya is actively persecuting, arresting, and disappearing (executing) gays.

by Anonymousreply 24February 7, 2021 5:23 AM

Iran, where gays are either put to death or forcibly transed.
