As someone who has been to some Middle Eastern countries, much of the homophobia isn’t really against gay people in themselves more so that public sodomy carries the death penalty.

Russia and former Soviet states, then there's the Caribbean and Africa, and Indonesia and Malaysia and other Asian countries.... most of the world's population live around people that can't deal with gays and want them dead.

Forgot the Middle East, which is a hell hole. They try to be modern with their fancy hotels and swimming pools but they are truly homophobic and vicious.

You could be a guy, stick on a dress and get railed and they would be fine. It's the moment you present yourself in a masculine way and get railed that they stone you to death. Makes you wonder if that's another reason the trans lifestyle is being pushed on gay men, so it makes things easier for the expansion of Muslim culture in the western world.
